Recipe: Crispy Kale Chips


Kale is one of the healthiest greens out there. It provides a truckload of nutrition including high levels of Vitamin A (for healthy vision), Vitamin C (boosting your immune system), Vitamin K (for bone health and regulating blood sugar levels) and Vitamin B6 (for proper brain development and function). Adding kale to your diet may just be the best decision you'll make. It is packed with fiber, low in calorie, low carbs and fat-free! One serving contains only 30 calories but provides twice the recommended daily intake of vitamins and minerals. If it's for weight loss, by all means... give me kale all day every day!

Honestly, I didn't like raw kale in fresh salad. It leaves a strong, bitter taste in my mouth. Although you can find ways to offset the bitterness like juicing or turning it into chips for snacking. Making your own kale chips at home is much cheaper and better than those tiny bags you find at the store. I got a bunch of kale for PHP38 ($0.75) at my local store, enough to feed me and my sister.

Did my vicious pinning cycle help a lot with the actual wedding planning? DEFINITELY YES! Having a mood board is a great idea to create a visual concept of what you want to achieve. Suppliers will ask for your wedding "pegs" and all you needed to do is open the Pinterest app.
